Get your SSL – NOW!

So, who’s forgotten to add a Digital Certificate to their website?

I’ve recently updated several of my domains, as Google decided to play hardball with a few providers that I was with.

If you need to revamp your websites security, and need help, just contact me – I do charge.

It doesn’t take long to secure your website – it literally takes less than 30 minutes per domain on average, but obviously it’s also dependent upon size.

Nobody should have to point out to you that securing your website, and the communication your customers are making with you through it, is of utmost importance.

You should secure your site NOW, or risk losing more than just a little bit of data.

EDIT –

I’ve received several emails asking if all that is needed to secure a website (WordPress in particular), is an SSL. Short answer is, no – especially with WordPress.

Depending upon your host, especially if it is cheap hosting, you may not have too much room to move in the way of security. Too many hosting providers will tell you that ‘their’ servers are the most secure servers on the planet….yet charge you only a few $$ per month in fees. It’s not the reality of the situation.

I’m not too interested in working on non-WordPress websites. After working with the WordPress platform now for more than 10 years, it’s safe to say I know my way around it.

What I’ll do, is look at your site thoroughly, then make certain recommendations to you – but please understand, each site is different.

It’s better to act now, BEFORE something happens, because it’s not a matter of ‘if’ you get attacked, it’s a matter of when.
